I swear by Viola Spolin's Theater Games for communication development. Having a child with autism has inspired me to think differently.. to find unique approaches to help develop his social skills without stress and on his own terms. Kids with ASD can really benefit by these games. Everyone can participate, whether they are non-verbal, have a language delay, or can speak fine. In my opinion, a mixed group is ideal! It's all about equal freedom, respect, and responsibility. A fine way to encourage social interaction at everyone's own pace.

The Cat #17

Felix Potvin is my all time favorite goaltender… so naturally I had to have “The Cat” on the back of my jersey.

The Donato fandom is generational and hereditary..

Another Donato fan for life… Ryan Donato is my son’s hero…just like Teddy Donato was my hero (heck..who said “was”… still is! will always BE!…nobody outgrows having a hero…this is a special kind of magic).

1996 Boston Bruins Open Practice…

Who brings a huge poster board to a practice and cheers their favorite player on at the top of their lungs? A Donato fan…clearly.

My mini..

Except he’s a left shot.. do all kids play hockey in the house? Probably. I feel like it’s just part of the experience.

There’s so much that can be said about this photo… but none of it can be put into words. So much LOVE.
